In Father the reality of life is turned upside down to create an impossible dialogue - the dialogue between a child and a father that never happens.

Father is an animated documentary film talking about the intimate relationship in the family during a period of drastic change and major social transition. 

Different interviews have been documented and used as original source for the film screenplay. Five animation directors from different countries have been invited to interpret one story each in their own animation style. As a result the film incorporates documentary approach with true creative interpretation.

Father is the winner of  2010 Co-Production Prize awarded by the Robert Bosch Foundation.
